We are seeking two talented Sales and Marketing Executives to assist in our day-to-day sales enquiries and the planning of marketing strategy. This position is offered both on-site and off-site where off-site executives can work remotely from home but with fixed working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, executing and evaluating marketing campaigns.
  • Plan and run advertising campaigns.
  • Engage and strengthen relationship with customers/ partners/bloggers through different channels such as the web, blogs and social media network.
  • Build up brand awareness in the blogging community.
  • New business leads penetration and business opportunity evaluation.
  • Perform market research and competitor analysis.
  • Handle and follow up with sales enquiries.
  • Create knowledgebase articles and tips

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or Management related field.
  • Required skill(s): Computer Knowledge, Internet Savvy Preferred skill(s): WordPress, Web Hosting Know-How
  • Preferably an avid WordPress user.
  • Sensitive to latest trends in blogging community and social media network.
  • Have good marketing sense and mindset.
  • Able to work both independently and as a team player
  • Must able to work in odd hours

WordPress Development Engineer (On and Off-site Position)

WPWebHost is on the lookout for an experienced WordPress Development Engineer to join our development team. This position is contract-based and project performance will be measured. You will be working with multiple project teams in building high-traffic next-generation web hosting products.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate our WordPress hosting system with more sophisticated software
  • Maintaining existing code and some refactoring
  • Implement web interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Working together with multiple project teams to complete tasks

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience in server benchmark testing and optimization
  • Working knowledge of Linux and WordPress development
  • Knowledge of relational database and SQL, preferably MySQL.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Experience in server tweaking and PHP acceleration will be an added advantage
  • Must able to work in odd hours
