Good Post but to pls note that WordPress Thread Comment Plugin is not required for WordPress 2.7 and 2.8 since they include this feature.

Moreover FeedSmith plugin is outdated. Use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedburner-plugin/ (FD Feedburner Plugin for it)

Nofollow Tag Cloud as from the link you gave does not work properly and does not help much in SEO.

This is a pretty nice list but some plugins like MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer or MaxBlogPress Favicon are just a waste of queries…

increase the size of your site using alt + and notice how your social media vertical strip gets in the way of reading the larger text. i am sure you already knew you can’t read large text on your site. good thing too since old people aren’t your target niche.

Thanks, that’s an excellent list. I am a big fan of WordPress (formerly a Drupal guy). When I really started to pay attention to WordPress they had just surpassed the 4,000 plugin mark. Now look where they are. Last time I looked they were past the 10,000 plugin mark. Amazing. It’ll be quite something to see where they are 2-3 years from now.
