It’s Hard To Admit Your Hiccups…

…especially as a web hosting company. But, we are going to do it anyway.

One of our server was unstable for the last couple of days due to some irregularity running of a WordPress plugin by one of our customer. As we all know, not every WordPress plugin are perfectly developed, and unfortunately there are some that could really hog the server resources. We’ve then dealt with it and the server is flying again.

For our customers that have been affected by this, we are truly sorry. As a token of apology, we will credit back an extra month to your hosting period.

Cheers.

p/s: Happy Valentines Day!

Hurray! The problem solved quite fast and I believe the support team is really working hard on this issue.

One thing that irks me about hosting is if my service provider isn’t transparent and not honest enough to admit its mistake. This post proves yet again that I’ve made the right choice by moving to WP WebHost — thank you for your honesty, and for fixing the problem fast.

p.s. I hope the problematic WP plugin isn’t the one that I developed!

Well, my sites were down for a long time, but at least I was kept updated—and you’ve explained what happened (which is good service). Good idea blogging/allowing comments on it, too.
